NACOC Raids Drug Dens in Efiekuma, Takoradi
Multiple Arrests Made and Illicit Substances Seized in Coordinated Dawn Operation

In a decisive move against drug trafficking, the Narcotics Control Commission (NACOC) launched a coordinated dawn raid on suspected drug dens in Efiekuma, a suburb of Takoradi, earlier today.
The operation, which was guided by prior intelligence, led to the arrest of several suspects involved in the illegal drug trade. NACOC operatives also seized significant quantities of illicit substances during the sweep.
This raid forms part of NACOC’s broader campaign to clamp down on drug-related crimes in Ghana’s Western Region, especially in known hotspots. Authorities have assured the public that more operations will follow in a bid to dismantle networks fueling drug abuse and trafficking in the region.
NACOC has called on residents to support the fight by reporting suspicious drug activities through appropriate channels.
